Bonnie Année! Bonnie Idée! …as some of my friends joke, haha! 😉

Happy New Year! Just a little update, in case anyone is new to reading my blog.

My name is Bonnie and I’m passionate about languages. I’m American and I currently live on the East Coast in the US. I’m 31 and so far I’ve traveled to 8 other countries. I speak/am learning 9 other languages besides English, my mother tongue. As of now, those other languages include: French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Polish, Icelandic, German, Japanese, and ASL. I’ve blogged about languages on various platforms, but I decided that I wanted to write my own blog, so here we are!

I’ll continue to share my personal stories, language resources that have worked for me, info about languages/countries/language learning that I think are cool, and to create a positive, safe, and welcoming space.

I noticed that last year, I almost managed to write one blog post a month! Pretty good for me, considering that the first two years of this blog I only wrote a handful of posts. I’d like to manage that once-a-month post stat, so fingers crossed. Qui vivra verra!
